The interior has a distinctly southern character - something you feel almost physically in the warmth of terracotta and wood, the saturated ochres, the greenery framed by tall windows, and patches of sunlight moving across the floor. The Mediterranean influence is less a collection of recognizable references than a state of mind: a certain resort-like ease paired with an unmistakably urban energy, and the sense of a long day that might begin with coffee and fresh pastries and end, quite naturally, over a late dinner.
Perspective shapes the experience. A sequence of portals draws the rooms into a long enfilade, allowing the interior to reveal itself gradually, one scene after another. There is something of a southern town in the way you move through it: arches, shaded depths, sudden flashes of sunlight and color. Terracotta tile, wood, and tactile, imperfect surfaces give the space a sense of permanence, as though it had always belonged here. Against this warmth, saturated yellows and red-orange accents introduce just enough disruption to keep everything from becoming too composed.
Much of the project’s character lies in this tension. Rational architecture meets a touch of madness. Mirrors abandon conventional geometry to become fluid, almost surreal objects, while custom hand-crafted reliefs are populated by croissant-shaped clouds - a playful gesture that pushes an everyday culinary image toward the absurd. Within an otherwise assured architectural framework, these interventions introduce wit, and with it, personality.
For all its visual expression, the interior was designed first and foremost to be lived in. In the morning, it serves hotel breakfasts; by day, it shifts into a café and bakery; by evening, it becomes a full-fledged city restaurant. These changing rhythms require no change of scenery - the space itself is designed to absorb different light, different crowds, and different tempos. Resort-like in spirit yet thoroughly urban in function, it feels effortless enough for a morning coffee and rich enough to carry a long evening.
